An Unpaved Path — Empowered

My right foot finds earth. Toes, ball, heel.

Tentatively, I apply pressure, stabilize, lean in

and move forward.

Left foot — right, again.

I am navigating along an unpaved pathway,

treading lightly, moving with caution

but conviction — courage.

There is sunlight, moonlight, guiding light —

beacons of love providing nourishment, inspiration,

guidance. Even, alone, I am not alone.

Gratitude blooms internal. Abundance.

Fear and insecurity, overpowered by bravery,

honor, truth.

My heart, my soul, my being — knows the way.

Proudly, with gentle breath, I restore my own brilliance.

Lighting my torch, I pave a new path — empowered.
